- Marshall 9000 vintage tube power amp 2 x 200W RMS channels (loud!)
- 2 x large stand mountable speaker cabinets (15" cones + horns & tweeters)
No cables included - speakers connect to the amp using standard 1/4" jacks.
Description:
I'm letting go of my old PA which served me well for many years. I've kept this as a backup but in all honestly it's not getting any use now so I'd rather see it go to a good home. The reason I don't use it any more is that it's heavy and bulky. I'm a solo acoustic performer so it's a bit much for one person, although I used it for this purpose for 5 years or so.
I must be honest, I don't really know any specs for this system, apart from the power amp is a solid vintage piece of kit and packs out 2 x 200W true RMS - it goes seriously loud if you need it to. The valve power amp gives a really smooth warm sound, much nicer and more rounded than my modern active PA speakers that I'm using now!
The cabs I know nothing about except that they're large and pretty heavy. They give a good sound with a nice bass response. As you can see from the photos, it's a bit rough around the edges (hence the price) - but all in good working order.
